The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of EC’20; these require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and that embraces diversity. For these reasons, the EC’20 organizers are committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience that implements the ACM Policy on Harassment and Discrimination.
If you experience or witness harassment or discriminatory behavior at the conference, we encourage you to report this promptly using the form for reporting violations of the ACM policy against harassment. An anonymous option is available. You may also reach out to EC’20 general chair Péter Biró, who will forward any complaints to ACM’s Committee on Professional Ethics. You may also reach out to any of the SafeEC Advocates: Rediet Abebe, Itai Ashlagi, Michal Feldman, Amy Greenwald, and Inbal Talgam-Cohen. To learn more about this initiative, please consult SafeToC, of which EC is a participating conference.
